Lion's mane is a unique mushroom. When fresh, it has a round shape & soft, fluffy texture with little spines that emanate from the outer surface of the mushroom.
When cooked, the texture of this mushroom is very similar to meat. Popular uses of Lion's Mane include crab cakes, stir-fries, chowder & pulled "pork". It soaks up the flavor of whatever it's cooked with.
